Our history

- Invitek Gesellschaft für Biotechnik & Biodesign mbH is founded as one of the first biotech companies in Berlin at the Biomedical Park in Berlin-Buch.
- Filled the patent for its proprietary non-chaotropic chemistry, leading to innovative core technologies such as RTP, PSP, and MSB.
- Launched the InviMag magnetic particles technology for use on automated purification platforms.
- Acquired by STRATEC SE and renamed to STRATEC Molecular GmbH, stepping into the automation field.
- Product launch of the InviGenius automation platform.
- Product launch of the Universal kit series for DNA/RNA extraction from pathogens and genomic DNA.
- Nuvisan acquires and renames the company to Invitek Molecular, shifting the focus to customized development, contract manufacturing, and OEM solutions for the in-vitro diagnostic industry.
- Adapted our systems to comply with the IVDR regulatory requirements for in vitro diagnostic medical devices.
- Expanded into food safety and microbiology testing solutions, following an acquisition by ALS and rebranding to Invitek Diagnostics.
- Obtained the first dual AOAC-RI and MicroVal certification for a rapid microbiology testing method for Salmonella spp.
