The InviMag® Food Kit is a magnetic bead based nucleic acid extraction kit, intended for the semi-automated isolation and purification of genomic DNA from a wide range of food matrices of plant and animal origin. It is particularly suitable for the purification of difficult food matrices and is ideal for e.g. fatty foods, highly processed ready meals with a high proportion of degraded DNA or spices.
The InviMag® Food Kit is compatible with a variety of magnetic bead-based instruments, incl. the KingFisher™ series and the Auto-Pure© series. To allow flexible use on any magnetic bead instrument, plasticware like deep well plates is not included and can be chosen acc. to the used instrument. Instrument specific run protocols are provided below.
