The InviRapid® Egg Allergen Ag Test is an immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of egg in food and environmental samples. All reagents required for the test are included in the kit. Results are interpreted visually. This test is suitable for the detection of unknown ingredients or ambiguous labeling in processed foods.
The InviRapid® Egg Allergen Ag Test can be used to validate and verify allergen cleaning regimes in manufacturing and analytical environments. This test is also suitable for quality control in food processing plants, particularly at the receiving, processing and finished product stages. Under optimal conditions, the kit provides highly sensitive detection of at least 1 mg allergenic substance/kg food sample.
