InviScreen® STEC Serotyping Kit

The InviScreen® STEC Serotyping Kit is part of the complete workflow for the detection and identification of STEC E. coli in food samples. In combination with the InviScreen® STEC Detection Kit, this assay detects the presence of genes associated with the so called Big Six non-O157 serotypes - O26, O45, O103, O111, O121, and O145. This kit follows the standard method ISO 13136, and the methodology defined in the EU Reference Laboratory for E. coli EU RL Method_food_2 REV.2. The method is applicable to products intended for human consumption and the feeding of animals, environmental samples in food production and food handling, and environmental samples in the area of primary production.
