The InviScreen® Mycoplasma spp. Detection LyoKit provides a reliable method for the qualitative detection of mycoplasma contamination in various sample types, including cell cultures, vaccine samples and bioprocess intermediates. Provided in a user-friendly lyophilized 12 x 8-well PCR tube strips (0.1 mL) format, the kit uses real-time PCR chemistry with primers targeting highly conserved, genomic regions to ensure broad inclusivity across Mycoplasma strains with high specificity. The real-time PCR method can be performed on all commercially available open-platform qPCR instruments with a FAM/SYBR channel, enabling seamless integration into existing QC workflows. Under optimal conditions, the kit enables highly sensitive detection down to 10 genome copies/µL, supporting rapid, pharmacopeia-aligned mycoplasma qPCR testing for cell culture quality control and vaccine/biologics manufacturing.
